Contents and Organization
   
     
       
 

The Contents and Organization section of the Stylebook provides a general overview of the parts of a course guide and details the overall organization as well as the contents and organization of each particular section of the course guide.

The Contents and Organization section is meant primarily for the editors, but may be of use to authors and other staff as a reference to what is in the course guide and how it looks.

Contents:

  • Copyright Page: information included and layout the second page of the study guide, verso to the title page.
  • Course Introduction: content and order of the sections contained in the course Introduction, which follows the welcome section and precedes the first lesson.
  • Lessons: content and order of the lessons in the course guide.
  • Required Content and Order: overview of the course guide; what goes in and where.
  • Title Page: information included and layout of the first page of the course guide, immediately inside the front cover..
  • TOC: information included and layout of the Table of Contents, pp. i and ii of the course guide.
  • Welcome Section: overview of pp. iii–xii of the course guide.
